Located in The Triangle complex at 4700 Guadalupe St., Mezze Me is a fast-casual global eatery that highlights organic, locally sourced ingredients and authentic Mediterranean cuisine with a contemporary approach. Mezze Me, which translates from Turkish to "my appetizer,” is a name that speaks to owner Moody Ugur’s commitment to serving distinctive Euro-Mediterranean dishes in a personalized, Austin-centric way. Mezze Me’s ingredients are sourced from area farmers and producers with help from Austin-based farm-product distributor Farm to Table. The customizable dining experience at Mezze Me starts with a bowl. Diners choose a base of pita bread pocket, spring mix, brown rice with quinoa or basmati rice. Step two, select a protein: beef and lamb doner, chicken doner, braised lamb, kofta balls or falafel. Follow with a mezze or two, including red pepper hummus, zucchini yogurt with dill and walnut, spicy tabouli and shakshuka, to name a few. The final step is selecting a topping and there are many to choose from, like sumac onion with parsley, crumbled feta cheese or Kalamata olives, or diners can opt for a dressing like yogurt dill, spicy harissa or garlic yogurt with mint.
