Paula Biehler knows the restaurant scene. She eats out five nights a week. While her more than two decades of business and marketing experience have positioned her as a results-driven media strategist, she’s distinguished by her straightforward approach, personalized service and devotion to benefit every client.

Biehler founded her PR business in 1999, after identifying a gap in the Austin market for a full-service communications and media agency specializing in hospitality. Within three years, the Austin American-Statesman noted Biehler as a key player in the delivery of national media attention to the burgeoning Austin dining scene.

Biehler represented the first three chefs in Austin who garnered Food & Wine Magazine Best New Chef awards. She has represented more than one hundred restaurants, hotels and bars, the Austin-based Whole Foods Market corporate, six food-related festivals and a variety of food products. A team member for over five years at Paula Biehler PR, Chelsea excels in building strong relationships through managing PR strategy, client communications, media relations, and developing creative marketing initiatives. She loves to immerse herself in the individual work for each client and challenge herself to reach new levels in her work.

Chelsea McCullough graduated from Brigham Young University in 2011 with a bachelor’s degree in communications, specializing in public relations. She began her PR career at the award-winning Bradley Agency (one of 17 nationally affiliated PRSSA student-run firms), developing and implementing campaigns for nonprofit clients. She honed her writing and editing skills as a reporter for the student newspaper at BYU.

Chelsea has a strong knowledge of event coordinating and hospitality, serving on the events board of the PRSSA at BYU, providing event assistance and working as a design intern at CLINK Events and working as the onsite event coordinator for the Commodore Perry Estate in Austin. As a member of three different honor societies, Emily Grant graduated in the top ten percent of her class from Texas State University in 2017, with a bachelor’s degree in mass communications, specializing in public relations and minoring in communication studies. Emily is the newest member of the Paula Biehler PR team, showcasing a strong knack for modern public relations strategies, creative social media content, as well as building and maintaining meaningful relationships.

Emily began her PR career as an intern for a San Marcos events center, where she managed the social media, photography, and event planning departments.


Every semester we reach out to the University of Texas for qualified interns in the Communications department, and offer two to three internships at PBPR each semester. We take our interns seriously! While they provide our team support such as miscellaneous marketing research, database updates and more, it’s also an opportunity for PBPR to share knowledge and experience for upcoming graduates who want to pursue careers in hospitality public relations.
